I have a problem to report, on asus k52de dosen`t work Light from the Caps and num lock. This problem appered yesterday when windows make the last update. If anybody is in the same problem like me please answer the solution. To remove the Lock icon on files and folders in Windows 10, you need to do the following. Download the ZIP archive which contains the empty icon. It will be used instead of the lock icon. Download empty icon. In the archive, you will also find ready-to-use Registry files so you can avoid manual Registry editing and save your time.

I have been searching all day but I can't a solution that works with windows 10, one solution was to open [regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > Widcomm > BTConfig > General > KeyIndication, and change the value of 'KeyIndication' from '1' to '0'] but it's already '0'. the other was to Comprehensive meta analysis version 2.
- go to Control Panel -> Display -> Screen Resolution.
- Click on Advanced settings.
- Click on the On-Screen Display tab.
- Choose whether to have the indicators show for a few seconds or always show the indicators.
but I can't find On-Screen Display tab in windows 10 so this solution didn't work also, so can anyone help me it's really annoying especially when i'm playing it closes the game to show me the notification.

No windows version has those icons and windows 10 is one of them. That comes from Lenovo computers. Check with them, not microsoft.

A little late but I just solved this for my self so i'm posting for future visitors. It's not a windows feature. A third party program is responsible for this.
In my case it was Hkcmd. Depending on the brand of your hardware it could be something different but it will be something related to Hot Keys or acronym of that (Hk)

On my system, I opened the start menu, then control panel, under Appearance and Personalization, I clicked Adjust screen resolution, then Advanced settings, then in the pop-up window I selected the On Screen Display tab. There, I unchecked the Enable On-screen Display checkbox.

Caps lock and/or num lock icons displaying permanently on Lenovo laptop screen
I have a Lenovo E530c laptop running on Windows 10. I was experiencing the same problem as many users, judging from the number of on line queries and posts, with the caps lock and/or num lock icons staying permanently on at the bottom centre of the screen (black boxes containing either a white numeral one or a capital letter A).
Several posts suggested going to Control Panel, and clicking on “Display,” then clicking on the “Show the indicator for a few seconds” option. This disables the “Always show the indicator” option that was apparently the root of the problem. I tried this to discover that there was no “Display” option under “Control Panel” on my machine.
I eventually clicked on “Settings”, which resulted in a menu with a “Display” option. I clicked on the “display adapter properties” link at the very bottom of this page, which led to a series of tabs, one of which is “screen configurations”. This where I found the caps/numlock display options mentioned above.
So if your machine doesn’t have a “Display” heading under Control Panel (like mine) the solution is:
- Click on the “search” icon at the bottom left of the screen
- Type in “Control panel” (both words)
- Click on “Settings”
- Click on “Display”
- Click on “Display adapter settings” at the bottom of the screen
- Click on the “Screen configurations” tab
- Click on the “Show the indicator for a few seconds'

Ah, this is a Lenovo thing I've been baffled by this. I am including screenshots for Windows 10 Pre-Release updates that are a little different than the above.
Oddly, you won't get the same tabs in this menu by going to the Device Manager. So this should be straight-forward (Especially for upcoming releases).
Hopefully this visual (A bit different) helps anyone that cannot get the above instructions right.
This 'feature' drove me nuts. I could not find
Hkcmd
in task manager and this post helped me find how to do this in Windows Build 1903
(from System Update) -- I no longer use Windows Insiders Program1 (Below) - Search and Find (I used start menu)
2 (Below) - Click this nearly invisible Link
3 (Below) - Go to 'Screen Configurations' Tab, then untick 'Enable OnScreen Display'

All of us, at one point, have accidentally pressed the Caps Lock key or Num Lock key. Then, you type a password and wonder why it doesn’t work. Wouldn’t it be nice to know at a glance the status of your Caps Lock and Num Lock keys?
RELATED:How to Make Windows Play a Sound When You Press Caps Lock, Num Lock, or Scroll Lock
You can make Windows play a sound when you press the Caps Lock key or Num Lock key. However, if that starts to drive you nuts, you can install a very small freeware program, called TrayStatus, that notifies you visually of the status of your Caps Lock and Num Lock keys, as well as other keys and even hard drive activity in real time.
Download TrayStatus, double-click the .exe file, and follow the on-screen instructions to install the program. You’re asked during the installation whether you want to launch TrayStatus at Windows startup. If you want TrayStatus available automatically when Windows starts, select this box and click “Next”.
On the final installation screen, select the “Launch Now” button to start TrayStatus automatically when you close the setup wizard. Click “Finish”.
TrayStatus displays a separate icon for each key for which you can view the status. By default, the Caps Lock and Num Lock icons display in the system tray, but you can enable more status icons by right-clicking on either the Caps Lock icon or the Num Lock icon in the system tray and selecting “TrayStatus Settings” from the popup menu.
How To Disable Numlock On Windows 10
On the Settings dialog box, make sure the Options tab is active. In the Options section on the right, you can choose whether TrayStatus starts with Windows.
To add more status icons to the system tray, select the check boxes for the icons you want to see in the Default Icons section. Any icons with a check mark in its check box will display in the system tray and show you the status of that item in real time.
Click “OK” to accept your changes and close the Settings dialog box.
The default icons you chose on the Settings dialog box all display in the system tray as shown below.
There’s only one problem: By default, on most computers, these icons show up in your popup System Tray, not on the taskbar itself. If you want to have them visible all the time, just click them and drag them onto the taskbar. (Note that there’s a separate icon for each item you check in TrayStatus’ settings.)
Now, we see all the icons on the Taskbar and can monitor the status of each key and the hard drive activity. For the hard drive, read activity shows in green on the left side of the icon and write activity shows in red on the right. When you move your mouse over the hard drive activity icon, the current speed of the read and write activity displays in a tooltip.
RELATED:How do You Make the Shift, Ctrl, and Alt Keys Toggle like Caps Lock?
Now that you can monitor the status of the Shift, Ctrl, and Alt keys, as well as the Caps Lock and Num Lock, you might want to make the Shift, Ctrl, and Alt keys toggle like the Caps Lock and Num Lock keys. This can be handy if you select a lot of files often or do other tasks involving heavy use of these keys. You can toggle the keys on with a single press and not have to hold the keys down while pressing other keys.
